Mujiayu Crisp Pear Picking Garden
Crisp Pear Picking Garden lies in the northeast of Mujiayu Town which mainly provides crisp pear for picking. According to the legend, a diligent old couple saved an injured crane while working in the field. In return for their help, the crane stole a seed of the fruit only for gods from the heaven, and planted in the hillside where she was rescued by the couple. With the old couple’s careful nursing, the seed grew into a tall tree bearing innumerous pears that were golden with some red colors. Attention needs to be paid when you pick up those crisp pears. Unlike some other pears that you can pick up causally with one hand, you must pick them with both hands, or they will become too weak to be reserved.

Bulaotun Tribute Pear Picking Garden for Tourism, the famous Hebei pear production area in Beijing City, lies in Huangtukan Village, Bulaotun Town. Xinxing Eco-garden for Picking and Tourism
Xinxing Eco-garden for Picking and Tourism is the designated garden of Beijing Sightseeing and Picking Garden, which receives about 20,000 people per year. In the Garden, there are Slivery Apricots of excellent quality which have moderate sugar inside. These apricot trees can grow for 40 years or so, with annual output of 4000 Jin. Besides, there are 25 guest rooms, and some country dishes, edible wild herbs are also provided as well as the specialties of dog and donkey meat.

Shi’er Plum Picking Garden for Tourism
In recent years, Shi’er Plum Picking Garden for Tourism mainly produces Royal Plum, and other varieties such as Wanhong, Black Diamond. It has formed the pattern of “early, medium and late maturity”, with output of 100,000 Jin per year. In 2001, it has passed Beijing Agricultural Product Safety Attestation, and been registered with the band of “Shi’er” which has been put into use. In 2004, it was designated as Beijing Agricultural Normalization Product Base. It operates every business according to the standardized management procedure.
The picking garden is 5 kilometers away from Yaji Shan Temple in Ping Valley, and 13 kilometers both from Nan Shan Skiing Field of Miyun County and Miyun Jindin Lake Skiing field.
