The warriors of the Yang family are well known to Chinese. It is said that the Yangs came to Gubeikou in Song Dynasty, and that the area from Linggong Temple to the bank of Chao River was called Shetaijun Mansion. In memory of their remarkable contribution to defending Song Dynasty, people erected Linggong Temple. During the anti-Japanese war, although they were outnumbered by the enemy, the Yang warriors with the other five thousand soldiers under the lead of Commander Guan Linzheng took on the difficult task defending the country and people. And the monks in the temple helped clean their sweat and polish weapons every day, supporting the war for four or five months. Therefore, Linggong Temple of the Yang family became more famous.
