Qi jiguang and Jin shan Great Wall
In Ming Dynasty, the government in order to strengthen the defense forces of northern part, appointed Qi Jiguang as the head guarding Jizhou town. Qi jiguang considered of the national security and transferred a large number of recruits and soldiers from Fujian to built the Great Wall. The Great Wall is the “lock and key” place of country. He worked together with the recruits and soldiers in order to protect national security and defend the country. Most of recruits and soldiers were from Jinshan and they left far away from home to construct the sidewall. Qi Jiguang said, "We build the wall is to defend our country and hometown, since you are from Jinshan, we will call it Jin shan Great Wall!" And they setted up a stone monument “Jin shan”for the Great Wall. It is said that a few years ago in Hebei Province Luanping county the comrades from Heritage Investigation Team found the stone monument and collected it.
