Yunxiu Valley Hunting Scenic Area sits on the west side of Wuling Fairy Lake in Xinchengzi Town. It is really a wonderful place for a 3-day trip. In 1991, when General-secretary Jiang Zemin inspected the area, he entitled, with great enthusiasm, “Everyone can hold a panoramic view of the landscapes of lakes and hills” to the area. There are other leaders of our Communist Party and country, such as Wei Jianxing, Wan Li, Rong Yiren, Song Ping, Li Ximing, Cao Zhi and some others visiting the area. The area can be divided into Miyun International Game Land, modernized flying disk shooting gallery, natural landscapes, human landscapes and so on.
＊ The enclosed game land covers more than six thousand acres, with more than 20 varieties of birds and beasts in it.
＊ The modernized flying disk shooting gallery is equipped with electromotive projectile devices. Tourists can give a good account of yourselves here.
＊ The hills, rocks, carves, valleys, rivers and pools are located in order, including Chuanzhu Lake, Qixian Pool (according to the Chinese traditional tale, it is the lake where the seven fairies from heaven had a bath), the Pillar in the South Gate of Heaven. There are more than 40 spots.
＊ Besides the ones mentioned above, there still are Liu Bowen’s thatched cottage, the Great Wall, the Alarm Tower, the folk-custom characterized ancient castle and some other human landscapes.
